The Old Barn near Clovelly, north Devon is a unique wedding venue and one that we’ve catered at for weddings many times over the last few years. Abbie and Brock contacted us when they were looking for a wedding caterer for their north Devon wedding in November.
We met with Abbie & Brock to discuss their wedding catering requirements which include a full seated Wedding Breakfast and evening catering for their guests. We started by looking through the extensive range of options in our Wedding Collections menus, which include an array of canapes, Wedding Breakfast and evening options, all hand prepared by our own team.
Guests were welcomed on arrival with a choice of drinks including a warming mulled wine option, we complimented this with a selection of handmade canapes including Mini Yorkshire Pudding filled with Devon Beef, Horseradish and Crème Fraiche, Savoury individual sized scones infused with roasted pepper, chorizo, smoked paprika and chives and Cranberry & Brie puffs.
Abbie and Brock choose our deep filled handmade Devon pies for their Wedding Breakfast, served with our creamy mash and a courgette tied seasonal vegetable parcel. With a vegetarian option of Spicy stuffed red pepper.
Dessert were our popular sharing platters that included an array of handmade individual desserts including a bride and groom favourite of Baileys mousse serviced in shot glasses, Dark chocolate dipped strawberries, Mini Eaton mess.
Evening guests were treated to an amazing wedding catering option of our locally farmed Pulled Pork, served with sage and onion stuffing, fresh bakery rolls and handmade apple sauce using apples from our own orchards. Our pulled pork is extremely tender and packed full of flavour.
