Chelsey and Daniel’s north Devon wedding

Lynton, arguably one of the most stunning towns on the north Devon coast line, was the location chosen by Chelsey and Daniel for their Devon wedding.  Set high upon the rugged Exmoor coastline and with stunning views down towards the Lynmouth harbour and beyond Lynton is a town steeped in history.  Built around 1900 the stone and oak designed Town Hall is the location of many north Devon weddings and the one chosen by Chelsey and Daniel

We first met Chelsey and Daniel when they requested a copy of our scrumptious Wedding Collections menus.  Our recently updated collections include both formal options for fully seated waiter service wedding catering, through to more informal buffets.  Included are our hand prepared canapes and divine desserts, all of which we make fresh using the very best of locally sourced ingredients.

The couple’s guests were to be greeted with a selection of our hand-crafted canapes which included Cranberry & Brie Puffs, Stilton and Bacon hand-baked hearts and Salmon & Cucumber Twists.  Canapes are a great addition to your wedding catering and are perfect when served with a glass of bubbly.  The main wedding breakfast consisted of a choice of three options from our wedding menus, Ballotine of Chicken filled with Caramelised onion and Brie served with new potato and a courgette tied seasonal vegetable parcel, Garlic & Rosemary infused Lamb accompanied by a potato choice and vegetable parcel or Roasted Red Pepper filled with spiced finely cut vegetables and quinoa.  All our meat is sourced from a specialist producer based in Devon, we insist on the best quality and locally bred.

No wedding catering is complete without a divine hand-prepared dessert, Chelsey and Daniel had chosen our Trio of Individually filled Chocolate Cups, these are a wedding favourite and quite rightly too as they are delicious!  Guests were also provided the option of our handmade Individual Lemon Tarts served with lemon infused creame fraiche or a freshly prepared Fruit Salad served in a tall cappuccino glass.
