Vicky & Greg’s North Devon Wedding – Buckland House

After choosing the stunning Buckland House Vicky and Greg contacted us seeking catering for their north Devon wedding that was a perfect match for their venue and theme.

Buckland House is nestled in an impressive 280 acres of north Devon countryside and boasts beautiful lawns, a fishing lake and extensive woodland.  We’ve catered for weddings here many times over the last few years matching the catering to the individual style and season.

Vicky and Greg started by looking through our Wedding Collections menus quickly choosing to commence their wedding breakfast with a sharing starter, these are a great way for guests to get to know each other whilst enjoying a range of delicious foods.  The sharing platters included our French baked Camembert infused with garlic and thyme, decorated with fresh rocket and accompanied by seeded bread sticks and fresh baked seeded bread.

Guests were treated to a main of Ballotine of Chicken filled with sundried tomatoes and served with a rich tomato pesto sauce.  Accompanying the chicken were roasted vine tomatoes, new potatoes and courgette ribbon tied vegetable parcel.

Freshly filtered coffee and a variety of teas served with amaretti biscuits completed the wedding breakfast.
