Huntsham Court – Mollie & Kallum’s wedding

Wedding catering is at the very heart of our company and we were delighted to cater Mollie and Kallum’s wedding at the picturesque Huntsham Court in Tiverton, Devon. Their day was a lively celebration of love, enhanced by the stunning Devon scenery that added a magical touch to the occasion. The venue’s natural beauty perfectly complemented the couple’s joyful spirit, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and unforgettable for everyone who attended.

From the start, the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. Guests were treated to post-ceremony drinks of Prosecco and orange juice.

The celebration was deeply enriched by the carefully curated catering that truly reflected Mollie and Kallum’s appreciation for high-quality, locally sourced food. Every dish, from the elegant Prosecco toast to the thoughtfully crafted menu, was designed to highlight the best of Devon’s produce. The catering not only added to the enjoyment of the day but also provided a meaningful culinary experience that resonated with the couple’s values and made the occasion all the more memorable for their guests.

Our Wedding Catering Included:

Drinks:

  • Guests were served post-ceremony Prosecco and orange juice, followed by a selection of wines (red, white, and rosé) and water at each table. This variety ensured that every guest had a refreshing drink to enjoy as they celebrated the couple’s union.

Wedding Breakfast:

Starter:

  • Scottish smoked salmon, filled with a rich salmon mousse and accompanied with fresh dill and lemon zest. offered a rich and flavourful beginning
  • Caprese garlic bread, bringing a fresh, classic Italian taste
  • Antipasti skewer bites, a delightful combination of cured meats and vegetables
  • Fresh Tortellini

Main Course:

  • Hunter’s chicken breast with BBQ sauce, a hearty and comforting option made with fine Devon chicken
  • Locally sourced garlic and rosemary roast lamb, tender and flavourful, served with traditional accompaniments.
  • Chef-prepared Vegetable lasagne served with a seasonal vegetable parcel, offering a satisfying vegetarian alternative.

The main courses showcased a mix of comforting, home-style dishes and fresh, vibrant vegetarian options, each prepared with care to highlight the quality of Devon’s local ingredients. These were paired with warm, heartfelt speeches that added depth and emotion to the day’s events.

 Dessert:

  • Mini meringues, a light and sweet bite after a satisfying main course
  • Devon Catering orchard grown Apples crumble & Devon custard, a warm and nostalgic dessert
  • Lemon & blueberry cheesecake, offering a refreshing and tangy finish

Following the wedding breakfast, guests enjoyed freshly filtered coffee and tea, accompanied by Lotus biscuits.

Evening Reception

As the evening continued, guests were treated to an array of comforting bites that truly hit the spot. The buffet featured freshly prepared bacon butties and fishfinger butties, served with garden-fresh lettuce and tomatoes, alongside pizza slices with garlic bread. These hearty options provided a satisfying conclusion to a day brimming with celebration and joy.
